About MeI was born and raised in the central valley, where I graduated from Visalia's Mt. Whitney High School in 2000. Following high school, I earned my B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, Behavioral Sciences from UC Davis in 2004. In the Fall of 2004, I began my journey in the family profession of teaching, starting at my mom's alma matter, Hanford High School. I spent my first eight years of my profession at a great school with wonderful support from my colleagues, students, and their families. While at HHS I taught Biology, Adv. Biology, AP Biology, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry, and I coached men's soccer, water polo, and tennis. In the Fall of 2012, I began a new journey, at Exeter Union High School (my wife's alma matter). Teaching at EUHS has allowed our family to become fully immersed and invested in the community we call home with our biological, church, and work families.
